Hello All! Posted herewith are photos of me and Bower on the Blue Ridge Parkway taken near our home in Asheville, North Carolina yesterday. If all goes according to plan, I should be leaving Bar Harbor, Maine headed for Jacksonville, Florida (2,100 miles) in about a week. Most of my gear (maps, GPS, panniers, etc.) is in hand and the bike is getting dialed in. Training is going well with the exception of a very rude introduction to some pavement yesterday. I will post again later this week after I leave Asheville driving to Bar Harbor for the start of the ride. - Chris
